LASU Students Win National Moot Court Competition   Students from Lagos State University (LASU) have recently emerged winners of the Moot Court competition for law students across Nigeria's six geographical zones. The winning team, consisting of David Akinwunmi, Johnson Ogundein, and Adeyemi Soffiyah, triumphed over students from the law faculties of 12 other universities. They argued a case titled "Copyright and Patents Infringement" to secure their victory. The keenly contested competition, which aims to sharpen the skills of prospective lawyers, was held at the Dr. Olusegun Law Resource Centre, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. This marks the fourth consecutive victory for LASU in inter-varsity moot court competitions during this academic session. Secondary School Girls build AI robot ‘Kiki-Saggy’ Secondary school girls from Federal Government Girls’ College (FGGC) Sagamu, Ogun State, have successfully developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot named Okikiola-Sagamu, also known as Kiki-Saggy.  The project, led by 10 students and supported by staff members, was introduced to the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, in Abuja. The student robotics team, composed of both senior and junior class members, explained that Kiki-Saggy stands six feet tall, weighs 60kg, and can achieve a top speed of 10km/h.  The innovators added that the development of the AI robot took approximately seven months, resulting in a creation that can talk, walk, and make gestures. During the construction phase, the team utilized artificial intelligence and machine learning to bring Okiki-Saggy to life.
